Blast from the past!
This is a marvelous way to view so many of the home designs and floor plans that were quite popular, and being built, in the late 1920's. Just before that dreadful crash that plunged the country, and much of the world, into the deep, dark depths of the Great (?) Depression. (There certainly was nothing "great" about it, other than the size of its impact!)
Anyway, this is a fabulous compilation of the last half of a very large book, with very clear, colorful images of the front elevation of each home, along with a floor plan, and an explanation of the features and architectural details the homes provide.
Saves one from lugging around an 8 pound book to view just the last half!
Bless you and thank you to all those involved in scanning, digitizing and then posting so many great pictures!
And the first half located in another section, equal in size, but extoling the many virtues of the building materials, home operational systems, and fixtures that were top of the line and state of the art, used for building homes such as these for 1928!
